Congratulations to Revival’s Director of Veterinary Services, Dr. Marty Greer, winner of this year’s Westminster Veterinarian of the Year Award. The award is a partnership between the Westminster Kennel Club and Trupanion, a pet insurance company. The Veterinarian of the Year Award is designed to help create awareness for the mental well-being and support needed by vet professionals and their teams.
“I did not win this alone. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all my team members at Revival Animal Health, at Veterinary Village, Natures Preserve Pet Care, Checkout and all the organizations I am part of. Also to my clients not only for their nominations and votes/likes but for all I have learned from them over the 40 years of practice!” Greer says.
Dr. Greer has served as Revival’s Director of Veterinary Services since 2019. She works closely training Revival Pet Care Pros with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, this way when customers call in with pet health questions, Revival Pet Care Pros are there to help. Dr. Greer also provides educational articles, videos and webinars for the Revival Learning Center and travels around the country giving pet health presentations at companion animal shows.
“We are very proud of Dr. Greer being honored as the Westminster Veterinarian of the Year. Dr. Greer’s contributions to reproductive medicine and the veterinary profession are immeasurable. The pet health knowledge she shares with our Revival customers and our staff is invaluable. We are so glad she is on the Revival team!” says Lynn Snodgrass, Revival’s President and CEO.
In addition to her work at Revival, Dr. Greer also owns Veterinary Village, Natures Preserve Pet Care, and Checkout Veterinary in Wisconsin where she is a practicing veterinarian with her husband, Dr. Dan Griffiths and eight other veterinarians.
As the winner, The Westminster Kennel Club will make a donation of $10,000 in Dr. Greer’s name to MightyVet a non-profit, industry-wide online platform founded to support veterinarians, students, and vet techs. Dr. Greer also attended the 2023 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show as a special guest.
