Prestige® 5+ WNV with Havlogen® aids in the prevention of disease caused by Equine Eastern Encephalomyelitis, Western Encephalomyelitis, and Tetanus. This vaccination also aids in the control of respiratory disease caused by Influenza and Equine Herpesviruses types 1 and 4; as an aid in reduction of virus shedding of Influenza and Equine Herpesviruses 1 and 4; and as an aid in the reduction of disease caused by West Nile Virus. Formulated to minimize reactions and maximize protection. Recommended for the vaccination of healthy horses 6 months of age or older. Killed virus. One dose syringe includes needle.

Store at 35-45°F (2-7°C). Do not freeze.

Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.

Inject deep into the muscle only. Local reactions may occur at the injection sites in vaccinates. Most of these reactions resolve in 3 to 7 days following vaccination. Systemic reactions may also occur in animals following vaccination. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Care should be used to avoid injecting your own fingers, hands, or other body parts.
Vaccinate healthy horses 6 months of age or older. For primary vaccination, aseptically administer 1 ml intramuscularly, repeat with a single dose in 3-4 weeks. Annual revaccination is recommended. A booster dose can be administered at more frequent intervals based upon individual horse or farm disease risk assessment or any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported. Foals nursing immune-dams should be vaccinated when maternal antibody levels will allow active immunization.
Antibiotic: Gentamicin. Preserved with Thimerosal.
