TruFel™ HC2PCH (Fel-O-Vax IV + CaliciVax) is a feline combination vaccine that is formulated to protect against Calicivirus (Novel and Traditional), Panleukopenia and Feline Rhinotracheitis. It helps with reducing the severity of disease caused by feline Chlamydia psittaci as well as protects against new hemorrhagic calicivirus strain VS-FCV.

This feline chlamydia vaccine is made with one additional Feline Calicivirus strain. This strain was isolated from a hemorrhagic Calicicirus outbreak that occurred in 1998. In controlled vaccination challenge experiments, this strain has been shown to protect cats against hemorrhagic disease induced by Calicivirus. The vaccine also contains killed Chlamydia bacteria.

Other TruFel™ Vaccines:

This chlamydia vaccine for cats comes with 25 1-ml doses of vaccine. It's a subcutaneous injection designed especially for cats ages 8 weeks and older.

Ingredients like Amphotericin B, Thimerosal, Neomycin and Polymyxin B are added as preservatives. If a cat experiences an anaphylactoid reaction after receiving the vaccine, you can administer epinephrine.

Only healthy, non-pregnant animals should be injected. Keep the vaccine stored in the dark between 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit (2-7 degrees Celsius). When ready to administer, use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes and shake well before use. If there is any left over, burn both the contents and containers.
Directions for Use: Inject one 1 ml dose subcutaneously using aseptic technique. Healthy cats should receive two doses, 3 to 4 weeks apart, except that if the animal is less than 16 weeks of age, then the final dose should be given no earlier than 16 weeks of age. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity in cats and additional boosters will be required in most young animals. Annual revaccination with one dose of TruFel HC2PCH is recommended.

The Infovax-ID® System provides a simple and effective method of recording pertinent information on the vaccines administered to animals in a veterinary practice.

Remove label from vial and affix to the animal's medical chart. 1.) Grasp the lower right-hand corner of the tab at the arrow marked "Peel Here" between your thumb and forefinger. 2.) Pull steadily at a slight upward angle until the top portion of the label is separated from the vial. 3.) Place the label on the animal's medical chart. Press down on the label to ensure adhesion.
